A New School Year Brings Hope and Opportunity
This year, over 200 children who have never attended school have begun classes in their brand-new school building. Praise God! Although the structure is equipped with a foundation, walls, roof, and floors, there is still much work ahead. In the meantime, families within the community are stepping up to lend a hand.
A Growing Excitement
An infectious excitement is spreading as many embrace a new way of life and the opportunity for this village, along with nearby areas, to have access to a local school. People are discovering the goodness of God and the plans He has for their lives, igniting a deep hunger and passion for Jesus.
Pastor Davis and his wife, Joanna, lead the school, ensuring that students receive not only an academic education but also a chance to learn about who Jesus is and the purpose He has for them. For countless families, this school represents a tremendous blessing, providing their children with education, clothing, and meals.
Supporting the Students
In Liberia, uniforms are a requirement for schools to operate, which allows students to have additional clothing and enjoy a hot meal. If you wish to contribute to the Africa Project, you can sponsor a child for just $10 a month, with 100% of all sponsorships going directly to support the school for the child. Our After-school Programs in Mexico
Our programs after-school in Mexico are situated around the city of Morelia, operating within both churches and local communities. Currently, we have four (4) after-school programs that are positively impacting over 60 children in the area, and we’re growing!
Legacy Bible Academy
The Legacy Bible Academy (LBA) program has proven to be particularly effective in Mexico, where education is freely accessible. LBA offers children the chance to learn about Jesus while also receiving a hot meal every week. This year, the program has significantly benefited many families. Children are eager to attend, often sharing their experiences with their families about Jesus.
Our goal is to ensure that as many children as possible regularly hear about the love of Jesus. While there is still much to accomplish at each location, we strive to provide children with everything they need to participate successfully in our program.
Sponsorship Opportunities
Our program is funded through sponsorships. If you’d like to make a difference in a child’s life, you can sponsor a child for just $10 a month. 100% of all sponsorship funds go directly to supporting the child’s education. School
Partnerships
We have two school partnerships – Myanmar and Honduras.
The school in Myanmar is a sowing school dedicated to rescuing women from human trafficking. People rescued are given opportunities to develop skills and to know the love and goodness of God. There’s also an orphanage located here which provides a home for children. Children are given a place to grow and to experience the love of God.
The school in Honduras is an orphanage called, “Hope House,” which cares for neglected children and gives them a home and a foundation on God’s eternal and unconditional love for them. The children are also taught life skills to help them develop as they get older.
